The IT Department provides a framework of Information Services to support all aspects of the hospital’s services. IT Department of THQ Hospital Sadiqabad allows different departments to collect, store, retrieve and transfer information of patient electronically. IT Department provides helpdesk, technical support and network facilities to its end user both Hospital HR and Patients too. IT Department undertaken range from the planning and implementation of major new systems such as patient administration system (i.e. Medico-legal System, HIMS, QMS, PAS) to more specialized clinical systems. Training in the use of these systems also provided by the IT Department. The department also maintains, support, and promotes web based information technology systems implemented by Project Management Unit (PMU), Primary & Secondary Healthcare Department, Lahore. The IT Department of THQ hospital Sadiqabad is headed by Engr. Muhammad Junaid.
Biometric Management System
Revamping includes many IT advancements like Biometric of Health facilities employees including administration, clinical, non-clinical staff and outsourced staff.
HMIS
Hospital Management Information System started its implementation at THQ Hospital Sadiqabad on July 2018. This system includes patient registration, diagnostic services, medical records, e-prescriptions, pharmacy automation, inventory control e.t.c.
HRMIS
Human Resource Information Management System (HRMIS) includes all detailed information of employees including their picture, date of birth, department and joining date.
PMIS
PMIS (Prescription Management Information System) was launched by Primary & Secondary Healthcare Department Lahore to digitize the prescriptions issued by doctors to patients to monitor the usage/allocation of medicine. PMIS includes total Out-patient department, Indoor Department and Accidental & Emergency prescription slips.
QMS
Queue management system integrated with appointment scheduler is implemented in the hospital. It is specially designed for hospital to facilitate the booking
Medico-Legal Certificates
Hospital Sadiqabad launched computerized system for digitizing Medico-legal Certificates provided by the Primary & Secondary Healthcare Department to publish, store and maintain the database of all medico-legal certificates.
Health Certificates
Primary & Secondary Healthcare Department launched Health Certificates Web Portal in Punjab Province to digitize the Birth Certificates, Medical Fitness Certificates and Death certificates.
Citizen Feedback Monitoring Program
Govt. of Punjab with correlation of Primary & Secondary Healthcare Department launched Citizen Feedback Monitoring Program (CFMP) in 2015 for general public to directly interact with the department for their problems / complaints / issues. Department launched its web-portal and appointed departmental representatives to address their complaints.
Hospital Surveillance
THQ hospital Sadiqabad installed 26 security cameras for the monitoring & surveillance of hospital as well as patients. Security Cameras includes major portions of hospital i.e. Emergency Department, OPD, Dispensary, Wards, Stores, Hospital Entry, Exit and Administration Department.
Public Address System
THQ Hospital Sadiqabad is going to implement Public Address System to address the public as well their own employees for emergency purpose. Public Address System includes 25 speakers installed in complete hospital.

Many other IT interventions include Roster Management System, Disease Surveillance System, Key Performance Indicators (KPI), Pakistan Gas Services, Local Purchase (LP) Medicines Monitoring System, Health CMS, Medicine & Equipment Stock Web Portal.
